01 PROFESSIONAL

So, what keeps me awaken, what drives me curious is, by all means:

Diversity! Communication! Europe!

I stick to what I believe in and what attracts me.

My approach is optimistic, too much and playful, very much.

I like to experiment and see what happens – you could sum up my work as a series of ongoing projects, training, lecturing and research.

In the intercultural field, I avoid dogmatic forms and cherish individuals' intricacy and relationship with their environments.

... and then,

I have PhD in the field of international scientific multidisciplinary studies -

Cultural diplomacy and particularly in EU intercultural image - its creation and impact.

I am an organisational development consultant and trainer for EU institutions, EU Agencies, and EU Delegations. EU represents a permanent intercultural sensitiser.

I am a cross-cultural and diversity adviser for private, public, and NGO sectors.

My experience comes from 3 continents and 30 countries, at least :)

Long-term experience with EU institutions positioned me to strategise, anticipate and evaluate work in multicultural teams.

I co-author and editor several academic books on cross-cultural management, cultural diversity, and cultural policies.

02 training

"I believe that working and living in a multicultural environment does not make us interculturally competent.
I believe that there is no stereotype free person in the world,
and probably that humour does not travel across the borders."
PORTFOLIO

In my training

Participants are expected to demonstrate and challenge their own intercultural competency

This means to be able to adapt to and learn different practices of different cultures

The main emphasis of such a type of training is on the practical and applied understanding of the complex issue ex. EU institutional cultures and their advantages. They are expected to demonstrate the ability to observe, analyse and interpret variations of cultural dimensions, using them and gaining their intercultural skills.

They also :

- understand the complexity of a variety of concepts and strategies

- discover the impact on their own cultural frame of reference of values, norms and behaviours

- recognise how stereotypes obstruct their communication

- develop various intercultural skills for different working styles

- create culture-sensitive working places and practices
